My name is Katelyn. I'm based in Portland, Oregon, and I am beautifully, unapologetically, and loudly queer. She/her.
There’s nothing quite like being behind the lens for me. Witnessing the raw, unfiltered emotion of real love as it unfolds. It’s where I feel most alive.
The nervous exhale right before seeing your partner for the first time. The way your hand finds theirs without looking. The catching each others eyes across the room. These are the frames i'm after.
Underneath it all, photography to me is an act of witnessing.
And I believe every soul who steps into my frame deserves to be truly, beautifully seen.
I take a documentary style approach that’s cinematic, free-spirited, and deeply intentional. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I’ll be a calm, grounding presence so you can just be you.
I’m very passoniate about inclusivity, and safe storytelling, especially for LGBTQ+ couples and folks who’ve never felt fully reflected in traditional wedding spaces.
